Independent Energy Hawaii pays $1,000 for every referred homeowner who completes a solar installation, with no limit on referrals. Here is exactly how it works.
Who can refer
Anyone. You do not need to be an Independent Energy Hawaii customer. Friends, family, real estate agents, roofers and neighbors can all refer.
Who you can refer
To qualify, the person you refer must be:

A homeowner in our Hawaii service areas: Oahu, Maui and Kona/West Hawaii on the Big Island

New to Independent Energy Hawaii, meaning not already a customer or an existing lead

Submitted through our referral page before they contact us
That last part matters. If your friend calls us first and mentions you later, we cannot count it. Submit the referral first.

Is there a limit?
No. Refer five homeowners who go solar and you earn $5,000. Refer ten and you earn $10,000. There is no cap.
