Can I join SolarServe if my solar system was installed by another company?
Yes. SolarServe is open to every Oahu homeowner regardless of who installed the system. We regularly take on orphaned systems from installers like Sunetric, SunPower, Sunnova, Haleakala Solar, Skyta Solar Roofing, Mana Solar, Solarwave, SunEdison, Sunco/Atyx, 808 Solar, Sedna Aire, PV Techs, Hawaii Solar Energy, Mosaic, and Swell Energy.
What is included in the annual site inspection and panel cleaning?
Our technicians perform a full visual and electrical inspection of your panels, racking, wiring, inverter(s), and monitoring, then soft-wash your panels to remove salt, vog, red dirt, pollen, and bird soiling. You receive a written photo report with production benchmarks and any recommended corrective work. Standard members get one visit per year (month 6). Premium members get two visits per year (months 6 and 12).
Do free remote troubleshooting and service calls include parts?
Remote troubleshooting and member service calls cover monitoring review, diagnostics, and minor corrective work performed by our team. Replacement parts (inverters, optimizers, microinverters, batteries, wiring, etc.) are billed separately if required, with member pricing applied.
What does proactive performance management mean?
It means we actively review your system’s production trends, not just wait for fault alerts. Subtle drops in output, panel-level underperformance, or shading and soiling patterns get flagged early so we can address them before you lose meaningful production.
How quickly will IEH respond if my system goes down?
Standard members get a dedicated support response within 2 business days. Premium members get a response within 12 hours and move to the front of the scheduling queue for any on-site work.
How often should solar panels be cleaned and inspected in Hawaii?
