You’re not alone

Hawaii has thousands of solar systems whose original installer closed or left the islands. We’ve taken on dozens of these orphaned systems, and more than 100 homeowners are now SolarServe members.

Signs your system needs attention

  • Your electric bill went up and you didn’t change how you use power.

  • Your monitoring app stopped updating, or shows zero production.

  • The inverter shows a red or orange light, or an error code.

  • Your battery isn’t charging, or didn’t back up your home during an outage.

  • It’s been more than a year since anyone checked or washed your panels.

What happens to my warranty?

When an installer closes, its workmanship warranty usually ends with it. Manufacturer warranties on panels, inverters and batteries are typically still valid, because they come from the equipment maker, not the installer. We handle all manufacturer warranty claims for our customers, whether we installed your system or service it.
